| CENTURY 21 - American Fork Office |
|
Jerry Edwards, broker, wanted to provide main level entry for his split-level office building and a conference room. The reception area was hard to find. We provided a unique solution to his situation. He had an attractive landscaped area between the building and street. We created an entry and 'link' to the existing building. The entrance is closer to and visible from the street. The conference room benefits from a private view to a retained landscaped garden. Mr. Edwards says that the addition was so successful that he paid for the addition from increased business in the first year.

| HUNTER GROUP INSURANCE - American Fork |
|
An insurance company needed a new facility on an very tight site. We litterally used every inch of this site shoe-horning the building to fit. While it is a small facility, the owner wanted to provide rental space in addition to his own needs. We accomplished this separation with an inviting entry and stairway, featuring interior landscaping and vaulted ceilings. Offices open onto the landscaped area creating a much larger and gracious feeling. Additionally, because of the severe site restraints, we created a bridge and landscaped window well, creating an unusual entryway and lessining the basement feeling for lower offices.

| MILLBROOK OFFICE CONDOMINIUMS - Salt Lake County |
|
The Owner wanted to create/maxize this office condominium project along 3900 South Street. It borders a commercial development on the West and residential development to the East and South, creating height restrictions. Our scheme allowed building two buildings (14,000 Square Feet) on a ¾ acre site, avoiding an easment running diagonally through the property. The Owner wanted an updated period presentation, reflecting Salt Lake City's architecture. This was the third development of at least six. |

| SANDY CITY HEADQUARTERS FIRE STATION |
|
We designed two stations for Sandy City: a Headquarters and satellite station. The satellite station was designed for expansion, while both stations were designed as energy-efficient, economical, and seismic-resistant structures. The previous 10,000 square foot Headquarters station was energy inefficient and drab. Comparing the new 20,000 square foot building's energy usage with the old revealed, despite utility cost increases, the gas bill was virtually the same, while the electrical bill actually declined. Because of judicious glazing maintenance work took place, during daylight hours, utilizing solar light only. We provided basement walk-out level community space which the department utilized for training. The buildings, completed in 198_, were built for $39.00/sq. ft. while other fire stations were being built for $50.00/sq ft.

Salt Lake County Residence
A Salt Lake county couple desired to fulfill a 20 year dream by completing an addition to their residence. After 20 years, they had many friends with whom they shared many memories and friendships, and desired to remain in their home. They, however, wanted to expand their small kitchen and dining area, master bedroom, and their 'music' room. We worked closely with them and were able to bring their dream into a reality which they enjoy. During the process, we have become fast friends. |
