To Whom It May Concern:
For the record, this letter was not solicited. We were introduced to
Mr. Dale Kerby by a well-known and very respected
structural engineer, with whom we have been neighbors and friends for
29 years. To make it short we can say without hesitation that it was
Divine Intervention and a match made in heaven. For the past 20 years
we planned to renovate and add to our home; but were not able because
we were constantly 'supporting' Delta Airlines' Salt Lake City to New
York City route, due to my parents' illnesses. Not having siblings, the
task of taking care of them was my responsibility; and thank God we
were always there for them, and therefore only now are we able to
realize our long dreamed of expansion and improvements.
Our vision was clear, but we needed someone who was able to
interpret/articulate that vision and stay within the budget. Mr Kerby
came into the picture, and if I may say was and still is very patient
with us and heard and listened to every point we brought to his
attention. I am aware that it
can be, to put it mildly, frustrating to work with someone whose mind
is set. It is not easy to persuade me, particularly in regards to a
20-year dream. Mr. Kerby turned our vision into a realistic solution,
while bringing to our attention certain weaknesses in our vision; and
turned them into beneficial improvements. We look forward to occupying
and enjoying our new home.
I should also mention that we consider Mr. Kerby to be extremely honest, and have blind faith in him. I can
honestly say he earned that trust.
Mr. Kerby has been and is available when we have questions, and took it
upon himself to see that the plans are executed as agreed. While we
were on vacation he visited the site almost every day supervising to
minimize inevitable mistakes.
As a bonus, I should also mention that on a personal level, it is and
has been a pleasure working with Dale, and we look forward to
developing
our relationship into a lasting friendship.
